A passer-by found a fulmar on the dual carriageway between Oranmore and Galway city yesterday. Dropped off at Oran Veterinary Clinic. Fulmar had laboured breathing but no obvious external injuries. X-ray shows it had been shot. Shotgun pellet in caudal airsac.
